    The 2024 George Coleman Scholarship 

George Coleman Scholarship Sponsored by the New England Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (NEACRAO). Each year, the New England Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers awards scholarships to three high school graduates who will be enrolling in a NEACRAO member institution for the fall semester of that year. Each high school graduate who is selected is awarded $2,000*. Each recipient of the scholarship is selected from candidates who are recommended by New England secondary school counselor.

The Education Association of Pembroke, an affiliate of the National Education Association, is accepting application letters for its annual scholarship awarded to a graduating senior or a post graduate enrolled in an educational degree program at an accredited college.

 

     The award is in memory of Ken Sharp, an English teacher at Pembroke Academy for 26 years, who passed away in July 1999.  Ken was a dedicated teacher whose professional career serves as an inspiration to aspiring teachers.


The Larry Yeaton Memorial Scholarship

Larry Yeaton was a long-time resident of Epsom. He graduated from Pembroke Academy in 1967.  After finishing high school he went on to attend Keene State College and earned a degree in education. Although Larry planned to be a teacher his passion for working on cars landed him in a career as mechanic. Larry’s family has honored his legacy by establishing “The Larry Yeaton Memorial Scholarship”. This scholarship will award a graduating senior who is continuing his or her education.

NH Student Distracted Driving Scholarship

Each year as part of our effort to increase awareness of distracted driving and making out roads safer. the Law Office of Manning Zimmerman & Olivera PLLC offers two scholarships to New Hampshire high school seniors who are pursuing a college degree or other professional program of study beyond high school. The winner will receive a $1000.00 scholarship, and the runner up will receive a $500.00 scholarship. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the school the student will be attending 

How to Apply: 

Submit a written essay of 500-750 words addressing all the following questions:

A. How significant is distracted driving in your peer group, and what experiences regarding distracted driving have you witnessed firsthand?

B. What can be done as an individual and as a society to deter distracted driving and make our roadways safer?

2024 New Hampshire Fisher Cats Foundation Scholar - Athlete Scholarship Program 

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats Foundation is proud to support college-bound youth through Fisher Cats Foundation Scholar-Athlete Scholarships, with funds from the Arthur P. Solomon Scholarship Fund.  Our 2024 scholarship application is now available!

In 2024, the foundation will award $1,500 scholarships to fifteen (15) New Hampshire and Northern Essex County, Massachusetts high school seniors.

Fisher Cats Foundation Scholar-Athlete Scholarship recipients will be selected  using criteria that includes academic achievement, athletic achievement and active citizenship.

Granite Edvance Scholarships 

Granite Edvance is proud to offer scholarships each spring to New Hampshire undergraduate students. In 2023, we awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to 93 recipients! Find out how to apply.


Do I qualify?

In order to be eligible for a Granite Edvance Scholarship, you must meet all of these criteria:

  • Be a New Hampshire resident, though you may attend college out of state
  • Be enrolled in college at least half-time
  • Be a returning undergraduate student (non-freshman) in Fall 2024
  • Show financial need
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher when you apply

Please note: Prior Granite Edvance (formerly NHHEAF) Scholarship recipients are welcome to reapply, although first-time applicants will be given priority.


What scholarships are available?

We offer four types of scholarships each year. You can apply for multiple scholarships, but you’re only eligible to receive one.

  1. The Granite Edvance Community Service Scholarship: Submit an essay showing your commitment to community service through extracurricular activities, employment, volunteer work, etc.
  2. The Granite Edvance Academic Excellence Scholarship: Submit an essay describing your academic accomplishments. GPA will be considered strongly for this scholarship.
  3. The Granite Edvance Leadership Scholarship: Submit an essay showing your leadership abilities, or your commitment to developing leadership skills. You can show leadership through your academic program, extracurricular activities, employment, volunteer work, etc.
  4. The Granite Edvance Opportunity Scholarship: This scholarship is for first-generation college students. Submit an essay showing how you have created opportunity for yourself, and what a college education means to you.

When can I apply?

Application for Granite Edvance Scholarships will open in March 2024.
