October 2: College 101 for Seniors and Parents

What: College Planning Presentation

When: Wednesday, October 2nd, 6-7pm

Where: Pembroke Academy Library

Please join us for a College Planning night hosted by Granite Edvance and the PA School Counseling Department on Wednesday, October 2nd at 6pm in the library. Information provided will include the basics of the college planning process, a timeline of important steps, and financial aid guidance.

October 22: Writing Workshop for Seniors

What: Writing Workshop with UNH admissions representative

When: Tuesday, October 22nd from 11am-1pm

Where: Pembroke Academy

Attention Seniors: Are you applying to college? Would you like some help with your college application essay? Sign up for the UNH Writing Workshop! This will be hosted on Tuesday, October 22nd during P5. Sign up with Ms. Paquette in room 1026. 
November 6: ApplyNH Event for Seniors

What: ApplyNH

When: Wednesday, November 6th from 8:15am-1p

Where: Pembroke Academy Library

Attention Seniors: Consider participating in our annual ApplyNH event. This Granite Edvance sponsored initiative allows for NH seniors to apply to any participating New Hampshire college or university with waived application fees. Meet with your counselor for more information and sign up in Blanchard House starting October 21st!

November 20: Graduation Gown Orders

Attention Seniors: Our graduation cap and gown representative will be here at PA to take your order! This will be on November 20th from 10-1pm. Please plan on attending school that day so we can get your order in. You will also be confirming the name printed on your diploma! See Ms. Landry with any questions.

Attention Students: 2024/2025 Program of Studies is Available!

Click here to access. If you prefer to look at a hard copy, there is one available in Blanchard or Walker House. Talk with your teachers about recommendations for classes or see your school counselor for suggestions.

September 24: College Fair at SNHU

The New England Association for College Admission Counseling will host a large College Fair at SNHU on Sept. 24th. This will be from 9am-11am at the SNHU Athletic Complex. Students interested in pursuing college should consider attending this event hosted at SNHU. College admission representatives from many schools in the greater northeast will be there to provide information about academic programs. 

September 26: College Workshop for PA Seniors

When: Thursday, September 26th

Where: Pembroke Academy Auditorium

The School Counseling Dept. will be hosting a College Workshop on Thursday, Sept. 26th. If you would like to attend, you will need to sign up in Blanchard House and obtain a pass. The assembly will be during advisory with an 8:30 session for CRTC seniors.
